The Goal of HDMUN 2026
Through HDMUN, we always seek to learn more about world politics and international relations.
Following the structure of – for example – the United Nations, our debates are not only true to life, they also help our delegates develop their oratory skills, attention, research and time management.
By opening ourselves to a variety of views, remaining engaged and learning to find agreement, we seek to develop the skill set of our delegates.
What is MUN?
Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation in which students represent countries or organisations and debate real-world political, economic, and social issues in committees modelled after the United Nations and other international bodies.
Participants prepare extensively through research, position papers and formal debate – learning to analyse complex problems from various perspectives.
Through structured discussion, negotiation, and resolution-writing, MUN connects academic knowledge with practical skills in diplomacy, critical thinking and international cooperation.
